Does it hurt to have a manicurist take off ayrlic nails?

I am sick of having acrylic nails, and have already let them grow out and a couple of them have fallen off, but it looks kind of strange now becuase only some of them have come off. Should I just wait to have them all fall off by themself, or have the manicurist take them off? ( I am not good with pain whatsoever)

How much should you tip (%) a hair stylist, manicurist pedicurist?

What if they own the salon? Do you still tip? If so then what %. I know it used to be that you do not tip if they are the owner but things change over the years and it may be considered approriate today when 30 years ago it wasn’t. If you are in any of these professions let me know when you answer as you are the people who should know more precisely than anyone else.
